  "Just A Simple Garden
Railroad" The construction rule was "Trains, fine! Please no plants are to
give up their life for track!" In short, this railroad's essence is
everything goes around everything that was there first.
You will see two loops of track. One runs
around the lawn and below lawn level, to ensure trouble-free lawn mowing, and
the other runs around the trees and bushes. Three trains are in operation
running among a scratch built saw mill, several stations, and an assortment of
buildings that complement the European and Western train systems. There
are bridges, Bear Lake, and a tunnel along the wall created just from plants -
yes, a tunnel that is horticulturally acceptable with a touch of the west.
The trains are automatically controlled
with a LGB MTS remote control system. The yard has "gigantic trees" with
continual shade and no plants were or are destroyed. Again, the adage,
"All the advantages of shade with the benefit of a ton of leaves".
