As part of the 5th Annual Orange County Kids’ Book Fair at Orange Coast College on October 5, SoCalGRS provided a public display of G-scale railroads. An estimated 15,000 people attended the fair, and many of them visited our display. Two large loops were in continuous operation; one featured a 35-foot long diesel freight and the other a Challenger steam locomotive with a passenger train. Five additional loops were available for the public to control with a variety of locomotive power and rolling stock.
